Accountant
Reports to:
Financial Controller on all matters pertaining to finance-related activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a full spectrum of finance functions, including group finance, credit control, treasury, accounts, budgeting/forecasting, taxation, insurance, legal, and company secretarial management.
- Quarterly announcement and reporting to Bursa Malaysia.
- Supervise and monitor subordinate daily routine jobs.
- Liaise with tax agents, solicitors, bankers, auditors, and other statutory bodies.
- Preparation of accurate and timely Management Reports and Financial Statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Ongoing review of costs, proposals, and evaluation of cost-reduction opportunities. Support and manage internal and external audit requirements, including ensuring timely resolution for audit findings and comments.
- Prepare monthly group consolidation and financial analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with corporate governance and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with accounting team to support various accounting activities as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Experience in an audit firm will be an added advantage.
- Good working attitude, trustworthy, and value-driven.

Reports to:
